Tom Bosworth, a race walker for Team Great Britain, proposed to his boyfriend Harry Dineley this week during the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

We love Team GB’s gay athletes, especially those named Tom. The Brits never let us down. Not only have they won an impressive 41 Medals so far, they boast 4 out of the 11 gay male athletes competing in Rio.

Tom Bosworth proposed to his long-time partner Harry Dineley by going down on one knee on Copacabana Beach in Rio. He posted the romantic moment on Twitter.

About an hour later, his new fiance went on Twitter to share a pic of his simple, yet elegant engagement ring.

Congratulations have been pouring in for the couple. Tom Daley , whose been engaged to Oscar Award-Winning Writer Dustin Lance Black since last year, shared his excitement for his Team GB teammate.

Bosworth has been enjoying his time at the Olympics. Not only will he be going home with a new husband-to-be, he celebrated his 6th place finish in the Men’s 20km Walk, as well as the memorable moments he was able to share with his partner in Rio.

We would like to congratulate the couple and wish them a long and happy life together.
