NuGen Capital starts operations for its Rooftop Solar Project in Rhode Island

NuGen Capital Management LLC has started developing the 6.76 megawatts dc rooftop solar energy system in the company’s facility in Rhode Island. The project entails the installation of not less than 16000 solar PV panels by AUI Partners on a 560,000 sq. Ft land in East Greenwich. Large scale operations of the project will be resuming early next year. This project will produce 7800000 kWh yearly, which will meet the electricity demands of about 639 homes in Rhode Island. The project will inform the reduction of 5534 tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year. This quantity of emissions is equivalent to the greenhouse gas emissions from a car moving for 13732440 miles per annum.

Mario Carbone of AUI Partners LLC stated that the AUI team is happy to be chosen by NuGen Capital as an EPC partner for the Briggs Solar project. He outlined that the company has engineered the development of solar projects generating more than 3 gigawatts of renewable energy in the United States with Briggs’ help in planting solar rooftops. Mario articulated that they are fully delving into renewable energy projects with the resources they have to establish their market share. The Town of Barrington, the Town of Bristol, and the Barrington School District are ready to purchase the energy produced from the company through the proposed power purchase agreement. The operations will generate about 195681096 kWh throughout the entire contract period.

Bristol Town Administrator Steven Contente stated that they couldn’t wait to enjoy the renewable energy programs that will be proceeding courtesy of Briggs. Through Governor Gina Raimondo, the local government of Rhode Island issued an order stating how the area shift to clean renewable energy by the end of this decade. Joe Walsh of the IBEW Local Union 99 explained that renewable energy projects would be implemented efficiently when the companies seeking popularity in this industry go ahead with partnerships. The chief executive of NuGen, David Milner, outlined that this project is one of many that they are anticipating to realign the economy of Rhode Island. NuGen’s Director of Asset Management, Aaron Rust, expressed his satisfaction for partnering with AUI Partners and IBEW Local Union 99 to develop the rooftop solar program in Rhode Island.

NuGen Capital Management runs renewable energy projects with investment in real estate and energy. Additionally, the company invests in commercial solar energy programs and battery storage technology to ensure that it meets the demands of its customers. The company is hopeful that the project in Rhode Island can create employment opportunities for the locals in the renewable energy sector.
